I shot another beautiful wedding this last weekend! Gosh, it’s hard living this life sometimes 🙂
Michelle and Matt planned an intimate wedding for 40 of their friends and family at the scenic Rancho Wikiup, a converted stable that’s available for rental for weddings and other celebrations. And what a choice it was! It was perfect late fall weather and the courtyard was just covered enough to give shade, but allow the beautiful golden light to filter in.
Michelle and Matt planned their entire celebration themselves, with the help of Michelle’s sister. (And countless others, I’m sure!) they created a wonderful French country/Tuscan feel with the wood table decorations, lavender and of course the rustic setting of the converted stables.
Food was provided by the lovely and talented Chef Stephanie, the culinary mistress. Yum. That’s about all I can say. YUM. Hangar steak with kalamata olive tapenade, pumpkin seed encrusted sole, heirloom tomato salads and more. Oh, and some of the best potato gratin I’ve had.
Michelle and Matt are such a wonderful (and funny!) couple and their families are just so sweet and kind. Everyone at the wedding was happy and had stories of the couple. There were tears of joy and laughter all night long. I wish you both all the best and thank you for having me be a part of your beautiful celebration.
So now, the photos!
