This was a truly magical wedding. Truly, truly magical and filled with so much heart… This couple is so kind and loving and so uniquely themselves that you can’t help but smile at everything. Bridget is a healer and Josho is an artist and permaculture landscape designer and every aspect of the weekend was crafted to show their values and passions. Equal parts quirky and traditional, handmade and elegant, goofy and sweet. Really the perfect mix of laughter and spirit. Food, flowers and beverages were locally sourced and provided by the greater community of these two very connected people. Post-celebratory herbs and tinctures were available for later in the evening with handmade soaps for the favors. Located up in the Anderson Valley, Wild Iris Retreat is a fantastic location for a weekend wedding. Guests camped at the site, but it was large enough that it felt very private and separate from the guests while we were getting ready. Friends and family lounged by the pool in the days leading up to the big event and the weekend-long format allowed for ample time for socializing and celebrating. The whole event was planned by the couple and the talented Freida Neiman at Sacred Weddings and Events. Enjoy the show!
