Wedding Information

This day is going to be awesome!

Beauty, joy, laughter, silliness, heart-bursting love… these are the things that make my heart sing.

I’m not into stiff poses. I’m not into crazy props (ok, maybe a few). I’m into love and laughter and beauty in all its forms. I want you to remember the way the sunlight filtered through the trees, the sound of cheers and the way your aunt’s laughter burst out during the speeches. I want you to remember how your best friend looked at you when you emerged; all done up to the nines. I want you to remember how your grandma patted your hand with tears in her eyes. I want to help you remember the smell of your flowers, the delicious food, the clink of wine glasses and the goofy, raucous dancing. I want you to remember how you felt this day, when you took your beloved’s hand and started a new journey togetherPackages start at $2600 – Please contact me for custom packages, off-season, mid-week or elopement options.

FAQ’s

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?
I call my style “observational”. It’s not quite photojournalism, but not quite traditional either. I love light and color, but I also like the small moments of quiet. and I try to blend in and tell your story in moments and details, but I’ll alway be close by when you need me.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
Generally I book about 8 months out. Some couple book me as far as 14 months, so if you want me, book as soon as you can!
HAVE YOU SHOT AT OUR LOCATION BEFORE?
Probably! I’ve been shooting in the Bay Area for nearly 10 years. Even if I haven’t, I’ll do a site visit and research before your day so everything goes smoothly.
DO YOU SHOOT (LARGE / SMALL / INDIAN / JEWISH / CHRISTIAN / GAY / NON-RELIGIOUS) WEDDINGS?
Yup! I’ll shoot just about anything. I love all celebrations from tiny backyard, to 300 people winery weddings! Some types of ceremonies have special considerations, so the packages may have to be adjusted to fit your specifics!
HOW MANY SHOOTERS DO YOU BRING TO A WEDDING?
As many as you want! Generally I work alone, but if you want a second, or we determine it would be beneficial, it can always be added!
DO YOU DO VIDEO TOO?
Nope, but I have some great recommendations for you!
I REALLY WANT YOU TO STAY UNTIL THE END OF MY WEDDING. WILL YOU?
I’ll stay as long as you want, but generally after an hour of open dancing (after all “events” are done) there’s not much going on. People start to look a little partied out.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE MEALS FOR VENDORS AT MY WEDDING?
I require a meal if the package is more than 4 hours. Working while hungry is a bummer, and while I always pack a snack, it’s really great to have a real meal so I can power through the end of your night!
WHAT WILL YOU WEAR TO SHOOT?
Generally I wear a little black dress, or slacks and a top. If you would rather I wear your wedding color, just let me know!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE MY PHOTOS?
I try to provide every couple with a sneak peek in a few days and your full gallery will be available to view within 4 weeks.
I’M WORKING ON A BUDGET, WILL YOU GIVE ME A DISCOUNT?
Not generally. I try to keep my prices reasonable, but I still need to pay my bills. However, I do offer some price reductions for weekday, off season and elopements. I also have a “bucket list” of venues, and wedding styles. If you’ve got something crazy awesome going on, we might be able to work something out.
YOU’RE THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US! WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?
I require a $500 deposit and a signed contract to hold your date. Your balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding.
HOW DO I GET MY IMAGES?
All my packages include digital delivery of your images. The larger packages also include a usb drive, delivered about a month after your gallery is released.
DO YOU SELL ALBUMS?
Sure! My largest package includes a custom album in the package. All my other packages include complementary design and albums can be purchased a la carte.

I don't post a lot, but when I do, it's pretty good.
