Toasted Wedding Event
What an amazing day! I met a TON of great couples, and got to meet and chat with SO MANY amazing vendors! It was crazy packed and I’m sorry I didn’t get to say ‘Hi’ to everyone, but I really didn’t see a thing there that wasn’t top notch. I tried to get some photos of some of my favorite things, though. I took terrible notes, so if I get anyone mixed up, please correct me.
Let’s start with MY booth. 😀 Nichole of California Sister made me the most amazing floral display and I really feel like it made the entire thing pop. It was beyond what I hoped for and nearly everyone commented on them. Bonus is that I get to enjoy them in my house for a few days.
I can’t help it. Forever and always a dork.
Next, my booth neighbor and friend Sarah of Warner’s Whole Heart Events. Sarah is a wedding planner/coordinator and even though I’m familiar with her work, it’s so amazing to hear her chat up couples and solve problems or give them ideas right on the spot. She’s funny, kind and super organized. Just the type of person you want around you on your wedding day. Nichole also made Sarah some amazing flowers… I just want to have these in my life every day.
We somehow scored the BEST spot in the show. Next to the bar! Pour Girls were serving two delicious cocktails: A vodka, blood orange & tonic with thyme and a gin, meyer lemon and lavender concoction. Probably the most popular booth at the show -I think I read they gave out over 300 drinks? Plus they were super nice. How gorgeous would this set-up be for your signature cocktail table?
Next up, I met Jeanette from Candy Crush Shop With her party decor and supplies like these super sparkly fabrics! She shared her space with Fleur de Farine bakeshop, who had the most beautiful little cakes and DELICIOUS macarons. So fluffy and crisp and mmmm. I think I had a toffee flavor? It was amazing.
Ok, I’m going to sound like a broken record pretty soon… Seriously everyone was so awesome. Next is Madeline Trait. She makes these crazy gorgeous wood laser cut cake toppers and decorations. These were like, the first thing I saw at this show that convinced me I needed to get married again. (To you Nathan, I swear!)
Betsy Barron is Love & Luxe, a jewelry designer and shop in SF. We bonded over my grandmother’s love of crazy jewelry, but I totally fell in love with her gorgeously simple rings. I am so in love with them. They are feminine without being foofy, classic yet still totally modern.
How much more can we handle? How about one more for today?
Karmalit is a local candle company that not only has yummy smelling scented candles, but they give back a portion of proceeds from every candle scent to a different organization that helps kids. Pretty cool. I am NOT a fan of fake scented stuff, but I loved these, especially the citriusy Ambrosia, yum. The thing that I loved, though is that she is completely set up to provide you with custom favors, bridesmaid or client gifts! What a cool idea, right? You can have your logo, name or invitation elements incorporated right on the label.
Ok, that’s probably enough for today. I have SO MANY more things to share with you, check back in tomorrow for round two!
