I want you to see that sparkle in your toddler’s eyes, or that smirk on your 2nd grader’s face… I want you to remember the tickles and the laughter and the bond that your family has at this moment in time.

What’s a portrait session with you like?
Well, I like to have fun and I like to work quickly, but casually. I don’t want you (or your kids) to get bored, or worse, be grumpy! I’m good at coaxing even the shyest of little ones out of their shells. That being said, an authentic frown is better than a fake smile – Someday even the grumpy faces will be cute in your memory. I do have a good stock of knock-knock jokes and always keep a little candy hidden in my bag, just in case. If we’re conducting a lifestyle session, be prepared to sit on the ground, jump on the bed, dance with your kids, read stories, and make faces! If anyone is feeling sick, please call to reschedule. No one wants their picture taken when they are feeling crummy.
What do I wear?
I’m very casual. I’m not one for matchy-matchy outfits or stiff dresses. I will probably have everyone sitting on the ground at one point or another. I don’t mind messy hair and jeans, but I do like clean faces. (they do look better in photos) I want the focus of the photos to be YOU not your outfit. That being said, try to dress in complementary colors and styles – If one person is wearing hot pink in a sea of dark fall colors, it’s going to look a little silly. How many people can be at my session?
It depends on the session! For a maternity session, it’s limited to mom, her partner and any siblings. For kids and babies It’s good to keep it to just those people being photographed. Seniors can bring a parent and/or a friend. Family sessions are up to 7 people for the base fee. More than that, I have a small fee to cover the additional time.
How many images will I get?
Most sessions will deliver between 20-50 Images, depending on session type.
When will I see my images?
You will see a sneak peek a few days after your session and your entire session will be available within two weeks.
How will I view my photos?
Most sessions will be viewed in person, with an online gallery available after your initial viewing. At your viewing, be ready to make your selections to take advantage of the deals!
How long do you keep my images?
I keep your images as long as I can! The new digital medium makes no promises of longevity, but I do my best to archive all your images with the latest software and hardware.
Can I buy the digital files?
Yes, I have a number of options available for digital negatives.
