Jennifer & Carol

Jennifer and Carol were married under the redwoods with dappled light, bright flowers and lots of joy! It always makes me so happy to see my couples surrounded by so much love and happiness on their big day, especially people and kind and caring as this couple.

Maureen & Nick – Sebastopol Wedding celebration

These two pillars of our community tied the knot on a warm summer afternoon surrounded by their family and friends. Golden light, blue skies, marigolds, delicious foods and wine came together to create a day to remember.

Tamara & Suz – Rancho Wikiup Wedding

This one took me a while to post because, even though the wedding itself was amazing and gorgeous, a few weeks later the venue burned to the ground in last October’s fires. But looking back, I can’t imagine a better farewell celebration to the historic venue. Rancho Wikiup has always been one of my favorite locations it’s quirky and old, beautiful, but unconventional. This wedding, coordinated by Vineyard Events, took advantage of all it had to offer. Tamara and Suz filled the space with love and laughter. And copious amounts of both! I was nearly in tears from the first look to the last dance with speeches and the ceremony making me absolutely choke back tears. I’m a sucker for a good love story, what can I say? Plus add in some adorable kids and the love and support of your extended family? Make my heart soar!!!

Sandy & Emily – Guerneville Young Love

A sunny intimate wedding, with the sweetest young couple on the top of a hill at private gardens. What more could you ask for?

Pagan Wedding in the Redwoods – Teryn & Rick

This fancy couple had an intimate ceremony in the redwoods surrounded by their coven and their closest friends and family. The following day, they had a larger ceremony with a wider circle of friends and family celebrating their union. Theis wonderfully nerdy family had some of my most favorite vows ever, including ” are the Chewie to my Han, the Companion to my Doctor…”. Instead of being subjected to the ‘clinking glass to kiss’ indignation, they had a giant 20 sided die and family and friends were required to roll a natural 20 to get them to kiss. Lots of fun and cut down on the annoyance of having to stop talking or eating to kiss, haha.
